Is it going to come from the occasional email stating the company has no interest in negotiation, or the Magical Green Lanyard of strike solidarity. If we all cross our fingers and toes it might solve our negotiation problems as well as the Lance armstrong bracelit solved the whole cancer problem.
The Union needs to hear from the pilot group in a real face to face way, and we don't have it now. Just look at this discussion our pilots are unsure how hard to push to save money for the company. I don't know who my LEC's name is or what that person looks like. For good reason because it would what good would it do. I never see them, hear them, or have any Idea what their up to. That makes it hard to have ANY KIND OF SOLIDARITY. You want the pilot group to stand behind the Union? Have some goddam meetings. Encourage the pilot group to attend. There needs to be a lot of them because this company wastes so much of eveyones time with the line construction and day turns. It's a tough break ,but we need to adapt if there is any hope of solidarity.
