Those two crew bases are about 1 percent of the total flight attendant workforce. It was an experiment that never worked out for them. Sucks for the people who are based there, but like all half measure things SWA has attempted, it just wasn't sustainable.
A lot of cleanup still to come on the operational side of things. I noticed today they totally devalued Rapid Rewards on the cheapest fare. Same as other carriers do. Almost forcing RR customers to upcharge to the next fare to get any value. The new Chase benefits better be good when they announce it.
