For the thousandth time, the vast majority most junior today can work longer at higher pay rates for more total years which equates to overall higher career earnings.
Those that will not be senior because they get hired later in life (may not be very senior) but nevertheless benefit with more total years and more total career earnings.
Anyone with mediocre seniority in any category and seat can manipulate their schedule when they’re older to work less (enjoy great QOL) and enjoy the benefits of extra years getting defined contributions, medical benefits and a few more years of pay not dipping into their retirement savings.
