I remember when I was in upgrade a few years ago an instructor asked me how much fuel I would be comfortable landing with. In my mind I knew the answer was way more complex and situation dependent than a simple one size fits all number. But I also knew the school house is obsessed with 6.0 on the gas. So I said 6. Instructor was very happy "wow, great job! So smart!"
