i have looked at 135.271. It is not clear. Opinions? How would the FAA look at this?
In general have you ever had a callus on your hand or had to sweat at a job?

They’d probably/hopefully not even bother to look at it

You are on duty for 12hr shifts, extendable to 14, god forbid they ask you do to something other than eat and play with yourself during the metric tons of downtime you have

I worked for a large critical medevac company for a while, it was a awesome job

Yes I would on occasion wash the plane with the med crew much like a fire crew would occasionally wash their trucks, we would plan touch a truck events with local EMS and Fire for the kiddos, I even helps load Pts (gasp).

It’s called work for a reason, and frankly working for a good medevac company is a really sweet gig, if it wasn’t for not having a airline style direct contribution type retirement and the post year 5 pay Id still be doing it

Are you single pilot?
If so the “OE” guy is not even required crew and having them rest on the super nice couches or full recline lazyboys is not exactly ruffing it. I’d offer my room up to them too as I liked to grab the radio and go walk around or exercise or work on my computer, really is a no factor across the board
