A few referencing the ASAP system and the fact that the runway markings at MDW are supposedly not clear. THAT is the real value of the ASAP system, the moment you see that taxiing around MDW is not marked appropriately, an ASAP should come from a few pilots hopefully adressing any RW markings before a near fatal collision is realized.
Where did I say they should face no consequences?
I said should they be fired or lose their certs..... Duffy immediately said those can't listen to ATC will have their certs pulled as an immediate response to the incident. And I know a few pilots at my place jumped in on that train of thought.
The prelim report that came out did say they did look left and right before crossing, but sun blocked the SWA flight. And as I thought they saw 31L as a taxiway and 31C as 31L.
