It'll look good for a seaplane operator. Why pass up an opportunity to get another rating? I wouldn't mind having more ATPs on my resume than the next guy. I'm getting the MES anyway, so if what I heard is true, I might as well do it... It would be a wasted opportunity if I didn't.
