I don't think I will be in the first rounds of my carrier's furloughs. I'm trying to make sure that I get a job offer before they carve into 99' seniority. However, assuming I get an offer, and somehow the furloughs went deeper than anticipated, as long as I resign before my furlough notice is effective, would that be sufficient? I'm guessing they won't take accept resignations once the furlough date is effective, can you clarify?
