Many generals and admirals, from fields I respect, have said as much. But Trump is correct. We were going the way of the Weimar and this is the only way out. It may be too late already. Government, entitlements, defense, debt, interest on the debt, it became a monster. I hope for the sake of us all that this works. But I can tell you that on the trajectory we were on it was 100% going to fail.
