Didn't make a fortune but absolutely made enough in that business to do whatever else I want to do for the rest of my life.
I'm betting you didn't, for no other reason than your reductive analysis of the aircraft market belies a complete and utter lack of understanding of what's going on in the industry. If you are applying your analyst mind to the industry you allegedly work in and coming up with these outcomes, than it is more than likely your analytical abilities also failed you in other trades.

The used aircraft market is so supply constrained that the lessors of whatever airplanes NK doesn't own cannot wait to take them back and flip them.
