Preconcessions your captain rates were about the same as FO rates at Delta United Northwest UsAir. I hope that helps.

Can you please explain to me how it really wasn't concessionary when compared to the others?

What does it matter which airline I work for? Did I say something that was incorrect or did I just touch a nerve?
We were/are trying to get the rates back up (last contract, and the one coming up next year). But others taking pay cuts doesn't help. It works BOTH ways. Pilots shouldn't lower the bar, as others are trying to raise it. Or pilots should at least HOLD the bar.
This will go back and forth. And I won't change your way of thinking, you won't change mine. Also, money is not the only thing to look at in a contract. Min days off in a row, min guarantee (monthly and daily),etc.

As far as what airline you work for, I was going to try to see what makes you better than us, or others. You can ALWAYS find someone that has a "concessionary" contract. Unfortunately, not everyone makes the same pay for doing the same job.
