Now that rideshare companies don't pick up at Terminal 4, when going from JFK to LGA, I almost always ride the Air Train to Jamaica, then Uber from there. 8.50 for train, the Uber is usually 30-ish to LGA. You avoid the worst of the traffic on the VanWyck and there's always a ton of Uber/Lyft's waiting at Jamaica. Big time and $ savings for me as of late.
