The captain’s name really isn’t relevant, so why do you even care if people don’t remember? I’m not sure what the point of your “zinger” was. Most airline pilots know about the crash and know that captain was the poster boy for the airline. I’m not sure why you think people have forgotten about the crash and what the industry learned from it.
