Another option: bid MSP and hang out at Wisconsin Dells on short call….about halfway ORD-MSP, and oh, what limitless fun!! But seriously, the drive ORD-DTW can technically be done, but it ain’t no cakewalk…that’s why I put “only” 4 hours in quotes. He needs to acknowledge he probably made a bad decision and either face a lot of wasted time driving or flying to work, or cut bait and relocate closer to DTW (or MSP).
