1 plane-2 destinations. Of course the plane will get rotated thru back to the states, but they are only using 1 plane to service both flights by doing one during the day and one at night.
What you described is 2 planes. You can't do HKG to both BKK and SGN with a single plane. you can't have a plane taking off at 0900 to BKK and the same plane landing at HKG from SGN at 0935. Its not possible.
Also the BKK plane leaves at 0900 and doesn't get back until 2045. Its being used 12 hours just to do a turn.
Same with SGN. Its gone from 2215 to 0935.
Both planes are flying at the same time.
Plus the flight to Hong Kong is 15 hours there and 13 back. That's 28 hours plus ground time. So even before the plane can land back in LAX you already have another plane flying to HKG.
With the way this is set up there will be a total of 6 planes to service this route. 2 flying to HKG, 2 doing the turns, and 2 flying back.
Its not possible any other way.
