3. I bet a lot of strokes age 60-64 are in people with known significant health issues, or already on disability. Pilots in that category don't fly... go in for your medical with 190/120 BP and see what happens.
Yes we all know a few fat boys, at least if you're based in Dallas, ORD, etc. But they're relatively few and far between (I'd be OK with a height/weight BMI limit, after which you get a more extensive workup, blood work, stress test, etc).
As I said, presumably there is a statistical uptick but it's not apparent to the naked eye so not relevant to real-world ops.
Stop with your "common sense" takes.
