FWIW per union email, “confirmed that American has hired 568 pilots in 2025, with a stated target of 1,500 for the year.”

I’d bet we hire closer to 600 in the Fall for 1,200 total. They seem hyper focused on running a very lean pilot operation. I was reassigned almost every trip last month. I’ve been reassigned both trips so far this month. Summer should be something special this year.
