As a new hire at HAL hope for the 787 and expect the 717. There are rumors that class drops have specifically been changed to give someone the 717 who didn’t want it. A test to their commitment to the company. Not sure if that’s what actually happened or if post merger management would continue that tradition. You won’t make any friends complaining about the 717 if you get awarded it though.
