There are some instances where this is a valid thing. F/A's relatives are given enhanced priority to non-rev to graduation, bc they aren't provided positive space as our spouses (I think) are. CPO granted emergency travel also comes to mind. .Parents are eligible for emergency travel as well. Not defending the abusers here, bc it also tends to show itself when people have gotten themselves into a pickle and get desperate to non-rev home when they probably shouldn't have tried in the first place.
