Would probably take longer than Trump’s entire term to tear it apart looking for spyware then retrofit it to function as AF1 & would be more expensive than continuing w/ the Boeing contract (which is already price locked). This is- as you suggested- essentially a direct donation to his presidential library. It has no value whatsoever to the American taxpayer. It’s not the first time a U.S. president accepted a lavish gift that he didn’t “keep”, but I also think you could play a round of “what if Biden or Obama” for context on this one.

As to the OP, I don’t think Agent Orange has the stomach for an actual trade war. The most likely outcome is still that he finds nominal reasons to claim victory through “big, beautiful” trade deals that accomplish very little more than putting back together what he broke in the first place. It’s a clown show, but the common thread is he gets bored quickly & changes his focus frequently (a la DOGE).

As much as MAGA will never admit it, the Biden economy was on an excellent trend & most indications have shown that it wants to keep going. Every time he takes his stubby orange fingers off of the levers, it responds very positively. SP500 is almost back to where Sleepy Joe left it.
