I’m not sure if I’m over-explaining it based on you question, but yes that is how it works. Kind of like LAX 756 not being global when EWR/IAD are. It won’t be limited to just the XLR, either. One global trip in the bid packet on the NEO or XLR for a category makes everyone global in that category.
LAX 756 has been flying both DUB and OPO and doing the same in June. Certainly the XLR can fly to SA from LAX. Who knows really where they will send them, but all 50 flying EUR I'm not sure about that.
