You missed the point. LAX 756 has had many periods over the last decade that they were non-global. So despite being a longer range aircraft, they were flying domestic only. Not a big deal for a line holder, but a significant difference for a reserve.
The 320 categories will be no different. Some will be global, some won’t, but sneak in a global trip and bam, global reserve rules.
