When someone looks extremely sharp however, I start wondering if they have spent too much time in front of the mirror and NOT enough time in front of their EFB. I’ve said this before: there is a sizable chunk of the East Asian and Western European public that does place a lot of emphasis airline crew uniform and appearance standards, however this is still mostly focused on inflight. This makes sense right they spend far more time visible and interacting with the passengers than we do…..it’s mostly female, and while subjective are generally thought to be more attractive and younger. Think about it, you can easily pick out a Singapore Airlines Flight Attendant by their sarong, or the Cathay Red skirts…..but what color are their pilots blazers?………..you aren’t really sure are you…….thats kind of my point.
