ATC is a terrible comparison as they are NEVER in the public eye. Your belief that passengers only “mention” weight, gender, or race is configured in your mind. Passengers rarely “mention” anything about those things, and we have no idea what any individual thinks.. I’m glad we have a uniform committee and company taking care of this stuff. You, I, and the rest of us are going to wear the uniform as the company/ALPA prescribes, so whatever we think doesn’t matter unless we want to get involved in the process. See you in the new uniform!
