Most of the leather jackets in use on the line today aren’t exactly well fitted and/or tailored “Masters of the Air”-style A-2 cuts. They are whatever Gibson and Barnes has produced and marketed for the last 30 years—too long, too wide, too heavy, and pretty ridiculous looking. And as far as the “resistance”, that will go as these things usually do—5% of idiots will bring 95% of negative attention upon themselves as they choose to commit miserable harakiri on the leather jacket hill. Meanwhile, the rest of us who conveniently “forget” their hats at home from time-to-time won’t even be a blip on the CPO radar.
