Wearing the uniform well will never detract from safety, nor come at a cost to our ability as pilots.
If someone isn’t flying well, it’s not because they wear the uniform well.
If someone is flying well, it’s not because they wear it poorly.
Most of the arguments for not wearing the uniform well are merely rationalizations for being lazy.
After all, it’s the easiest part of our job.
You be you. I’ve got more things on my plate to be concerned about than whether the dude or dudette I’m sharing the cockpit with is sporting the uniform crisply with the ID visible on the outermost garment.
