The lost decade folks range in age from 23 to 60’s. The fact is those people (you included) will have far fewer years in the left seat than the kids going from RJ’s to legacies in six months, and upgrading within two years. Your 20 years in the left seat is half of the 40 years they’ll have. Time value of money. Don't short change yourself. Besides, they’ll get the extra 2 years also, so the reality is everybody benefits in the end.
That was a snapshot in time. Literally the best movement in 30? years in the industry. Only guys hired in 2022-2023 experienced this. Everyone hired later (or still at the regionals) will take 5-10+ years to hold JUNIOR captain at the legacies. So maybe 1000 young guys got lucky, remember a lot of people hired at legacies are over 40. But the quick upgrade and rapid movement you're all angry and jealous about was literally just a small blip. So get over it, because it's already over.
