This was announced at the FLTops Pilot Career Conference in Las Vegas this month. Mesaba is continuing to hire and when I asked LCA if he is still checking people out he said the pace has not slowed down at all. Now this is in the CRJ9s. I think Saab classes may have slowed down a bit.
They must know something we don't know. It looks like they are gearing up for more than what we currently project.
I think that is wishful thinking. I would love for them to hire another 350 pilots but I dont think its going to happen. They keep filling the classes internally and sending alot of the instructors to the line because there is no training to be done.
