If the Senile Majority would wakeup from their day naps between hub turns and see what the rest of the industry is moving towards, maybe we could too. I am floored at the lack of pattern bargaining gains, DL/UA/AA have moved the chains to a new minimum. Not a nickel less. Us “no voter Millenials” won’t accept a 2008-esque Great Value-brand toilet paper contract.

And “FedEx is different” “its the way it’s always been new guy” doesn’t hold water when it comes to making less money for the same and even more difficult flying.
The Fedex System Chief Pilot testified in an Administrative Law Court that the Fedex schedule is among the most challenging in 121 aviation. Which is totally within good faith to the VP of Ops publicly stating that the pattern to FedEx is Alaska. Totally.

The reality is that TA1 Yes Voters simply failed to see that the industry passed them by. That's fine, not everyone is a comparative contract expert. However, that's not a reason to fail to value your labor appropriately to your contemporaries because some guy you knew in Colorado Springs in 1988 told you so.
