Can anyone elaborate on the way commuting would work for someone living in the Pensacola, FL area in the interim until 2nd year pay? Is it possible to commute on a codeshare through Alaska? Or would it be prudent to select CVG as a domicile in the interim?

All you can do is apply and see what you’re offered. I think there may be a couple 33F vacancies in the last bid. If offered a freight class, that’ll get you CVG and some commuter tickets per month.
