Wondering if maybe the MCP didn't get reset after the previous flight which presumably would've landed the 28s...it's an easy thing to miss.
On the Bus, do you depart LNAV off the ground or is it selected once airborne? Could a FD have commanded a left turn after reaching whatever minimum height HDG might engage and prior to LNAV engagement?
I don't know anything about the Airbus so if this sounds stupid, it's probably because I am.
