I wouldn’t recommend basing a career move on type ratings, but you do you.

The base info has already been posted, but it’s worth noting that United has made the 73 our narrow body workhorse. 73’s has ETOPS certification and the common wisdom is 73’s will fly fewer legs per month, but also more redeyes. The airbus is replacing the regional flying so generally less glamorous layovers if that’s something you care about.

The 321’s will eventually inherit the long thin 75 routes and get bougie layovers and more efficient trips, but which base gets that flying and how junior that will go remains to be seen.
