The 756 will have to be consolidated to fewer bases in coming years... just haven't heard any proposed progression. No 767 and limited 757 in those bases makes the west coast seem like the first target...
the MAX is doing HI just fine. Other than a few OD pairs like DEN-OGG, I don’t see much of a need for NEO and certainly not XLR to do much HI flying
