Please don’t pick the 717 if you have a chance to fly it for the upgrade, that ship has sailed. There were pilots selecting it in new hire class for the upgrade in late 2022 and even 2023. That didn’t happens for them. The days of 4 month vacancy award or over. Many have bailed for other flying.
That plane is a dying fleet. They have eliminated captain seats. The captains in it will stay until their retirement or plane is parked.
