If oil corrects back down to the $110-120/bbl range and acts like it's going to stay there, I think some of the airlines might get comfortable with getting guys out of their hiring pools and into some classes. $110 seemed to be the inflection point on the way up earlier this year when classes/interviews started getting canceled, so hopefully the reverse will be true.

Another thing is that many pilots are trying to beat the rush to Emirates and others like it, so there will still be some attrition at airlines here in the US. I would expect AirTran to take some action as soon as anyone.
