I don't know why so many people are tripping over themselves to try to solve this investigation on this thread. The FDR and voice recorder will provide enough information. Most of the speculation coming from professional pilots is just plain embarrassing. Look at all the people who were convinced that the flaps weren't down for takeoff. Then you have people saying the RAT wasn't deployed. Then people were saying the flaps must have been retracted. All of those claims were proven wrong within a few hours. And now we have people trying to trace electrical short circuits.
