Let me set the record straight, MP didn't blame the union for anything. He merely told me that my standing bid, DC-10 Capt, meant that I was considered excessed, period. He went on to say that it would not have mattered whether I put other choices down or not(ie HKG Capt), because I did in fact get the DC-10. Therefore, I am an excess.

However, stating that the settlement merely enorced the CBA, I don't know if I can agree. First, if it did, why then did we need an additional settlement? Can't we just rely on the CBA? Also, why is it my HKG Captain award from practice bid #1 vanished after the settlement agreement? I can assure you, it did more than enforce the CBA, at least to one crewmember.
