I can understand the argument for staffing being subjective to some degree although even then you can quantify based off fleet size, flight frequency, and category size for each seat ie WB 15 A’s and 18 B’s per aircraft. Arbitrarily number. Having enough reserves to cover the airlines summer schedule has always been a hard number carriers would shoot for. While RRPY is nice and greenies even better running the operation “hot” is just another way of saying we’re understaffed and trying to cut costs by doing more with less.
