Are there generally decent breaks given throughout training or should I plan to be in HNL (or overseas for some fleets sims) for 3-4 months straight? I’m trying to work out if I should vacate my apartment at home and ship everything over for the first day of Indoc, or if it’s safe to assume I’ll have time to get home throughout the first few months and move things over gradually.
Training is generally a firehouse with maybe 2-4 days max off between 2-4 sim/training sessions. Usually you’ll have at least a week break between your check ride and ioe. But why pay for two places?
