At least the next day award process is a little better, although it is still nebulous as to what order it tries to assign the various start times. This is also why, as someone with decent reserve seniority, I only ever bid for the single start time I want. I don’t trust the process if I layer multiple requests. Junior folks are more hosed as they may have to put in multiple start times since they may not be able to hold their first choice.
