Please remember when we all cross paths that this is a UPS-DHL venture not a UPS-IPA-DHL venture. Noone asked any of us what we thought. If a brother or sister is down we will do what we can to help you get up. On the other side of the coin I glad for a change that it is us (UPS) with some positive news, but for the most part I am sad because it will be at the expense of someone else.
Lastly, for all of us at UPS. Mark these words. We are all just one UPS Management decision away from a job loss. Nothing is guaranteed.
Best to all of you,

agreed... peace.
We didn't pick up anything from the European open skys... and if UPS needed to or could cut a deal to put some stuff on a DHL contactor abroad, I'm sure they would. This relationship needs to be watched.
Ultimately, I feel terrible for our fellow brothers and sisters. This is my sixth airline. I've started over many times. It isn't fun. I am always looking for that stability that doesn't exist. I can hear it in the voices of my friends at UAL, NWA, AA, JetBlue, Frontier, etc. I cannot imagine any pilot at UPS gloating.
