In one of the C81 comms after the 9-8 vote, RH predicted this exact scenario:

"Crew Scheduling can just wait until the 8-hour prior to report point, and then pull the pin on the hand grenade and yell “fire in the hole” by invoking 23.M.7 and the IA process via the Crew Notification System. When that happens, IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOUR PCS or ARCOS SETTINGS ARE. EVERYONE WHO HAS THEIR PHONE ON IS CALLED!"

Lol right! Big surprise that giving away batch sizes didn't actually work and only helped the company. We were fools to let that happen and we're fools if we give away something else to solve this made up crisis.
