Not a Spirit pilot but I make $500 per flight hour at a ULCC without working premium. 250 days off. To go to UA and commute vs not now with very young kids is a tough ask. I also didn’t come to my ULCC for the money, I came for the schedule. For me time is WAY more important than money. We will all retire just fine in this industry. Shat company or not.
