As someone who adjusts my schedule with mil leave and actually does military duty on those days, I’m afraid of the “one person poops their pants and now we all have to wear diapers” consequence. Who knows what second order effects and FOM policy changes could come about.
That's why they need to be dealt with. They are breaking the USERRA law, it's not just the FOM. If the government and Delta are going to give us this benefit, we have to uphold our end of the bargain.
Lawsuit still going on for about 8 years now about guys getting fired from Delta for abusing mil leave.
