Those Pan Am numbers are from 1990. They likely had a much larger market share than Spirit currently has. Air travel has grown SIGNIFICANTLY since 1990.
And if you didn't get the point of my post, it was a rebuttal to your ludicrous comment that no airline as big as Spirit has ever gone Ch7. Spirit is not too big to fail.
