With all that said, while working the line at NKS, one honestly would have no idea of the financial challenges, behind the scenes. For the most part, the operation runs pretty well. Most of the aircraft are pretty full. Every once in a while you’d have an empty flight. But it would appear other airlines are in the same boat at the same time. Very few, if any, deferrals on aircraft. Waiting for gates has been very minimal. Unless you’re really early. Which happens often. There’s a fancy new HQ and training center. I’ll probably get shot for saying this but the company hotel is actually pretty nice and has a lot of potential. Better than some of the hotels we stay at.

The big thing is the absolute silence from the company. These occasional town halls are sort of hit or miss.

So as one working day to day, there isn’t much to signal the picture being painted here on APC. Not saying there’s no merit to any of it. But ne doesn’t have to bury their head to deep to be unaware. Part of the reason many are staying.
