agree. Don’t fall for it. The company can choose to cover trips with gs as early as they want to. They seem to be purposely prodding the pilot group by waiting until ‘the last minute’ and then pretending to have no choice but to do a mass-blast ia phone call. Alpa skeds has to be all over this.
I’d like to see us refuse to cover any premium pay trips outside of PCS and ARCOS.
IA needs to be re-written. It’s a dated part of our contract that no longer applies. Just about every single time IA is being used, the company is breaking the contract. They might claim the 23.M.7 loophole, but that was supposed to be used for extraordinary circumstances. Bypassing GS coverage is not extraordinary. We’re extremely greedy as a group which is fine, but we’re going down a bad path with the current free-for-all.
