yup I agree with you, if you have 2 experienced people you take the one with the degree I just don’t think it should weigh more than experience. My point really was that I don’t have one and United is still interested so it’s not a complete barrier to entry trying to get hired in 2025. You just better have some other strong assets if not.
For sure, they will take a 320 type with experience etc over a degree in basket weaving. There’s a lot of experienced people at spirit that didn’t have degrees and that’s a great pool to draw from
