[QUOTE=CRJJ;3932555]We all know the pros and cons of AA, the potential we have and how we **** up things in many ways. Other than that, still a hell of a job. Miserable people don’t make a toxic pilot group, but f* me they’re intense.[/QUOTED]
DNP. Life gets better if you remove 1 or 2 guys.
Riding a jumpseat back from Oshkosh (if you've never gone it's a treat, I should have gone decades sooner). FO is the 3rd person off the airplane, a pax, me from the jumpseat...and the FO. Said the Captain was pure misery. He saw this great trip in open time and it sat there. He was able to pick it up. Afternoon PHL-LAX, day 2 was LAX-ORD-PHL. Home around 8-9 PM??? "I learned my lesson. That's the second time I've grabbed a trip that I couldn't believe no one was picking up. Previous was a long SXM layover in the winter. Next time I'll ask around - "what's this Captain like? They were both pricks. That's why the trips were sitting there."
