Not sure where you are but in my state kids can do an associate's degree (essentially all of the lower end 101 courses and stuff like calculus 1-3, etc) at the local CC for $100/credit hour, it's around $6k for the two-year. Then transfer into the State system and get a 4-year. Total cost is around $20k-$25k not including room/board total for the combined BS/BA degree.

Wind the clock. NO RASH MOVES. Get with your family and explain everything, lay it out on the table. Make a plan. Plan A, B, C, D, E and F. Think through it through logically as best you can.
